The new fingerprint scanner is the fastest on any smartphone to date although with the speeds they are already is it going to make much difference?
The Pixel 2 will be shipped with the latest Snapdragon 835 and being coupled with 4GB of RAM making Gaming, multi-tasking, and just about anything you can throw at it a breeze. The camera has also been updated to pack in a 12MP camera which scores the highest on the DxO mark scoring 99 in photo and 96 in video, meaning it’s the perfect companion for people who love taking scenic and beautiful shots.
The battery also received a welcome updating with a battery that last all day and is able to gain 7 hours’ worth on charge in a mere 15 minutes no excuse now for a dead battery.
Right out the box the phone will be coming with the stock version of Android 8.0 Oreo, highlighting the key benefits of a “pure” android OS. HTC are the makers of the phone and so have integrated the “squeeze” feature found on the U11, the main function of this being to launch the Google Assistant.
